Dr Maoying Qiao

Dr Qiao is currently a Senior Lecturer in the School of Computer Science at the University of Technology Sydney. Her research expertise is in machine learning, computer vision, and Bayesian inference.
Dr Theodor Wyeld
Senior Research Fellow
Dr Wyeld is currently a software freelancer at wyeldbydesign, providing solutions for deploying graphics applications in the docker environment using AWS cloud service. He has backgrounds in human computer interaction and cognitive psychology and specialises in interaction design and information visualisation.

Dr MingJian Tang
Dr. Tang is currently a Principal Data Scientist at Atlassian with over 12 years post-PhD industry experience in Healthcare (Australian Government), Transport, Banking (Commonwealth Bank of Australia and Westpac Banking Corp.), Telecommunication (Optus, SingTel), and ICT. He has participated in a number of high-profile industry-based research projects including unsupervised fraud detection for Medicare Australia (best paper award), unstructured threat intelligence, cyber risk analysis and quantification (quarterly innovation award at Commonwealth Bank Digital Protection Group), transfer learning for time series forecasting, large cyber knowledge graphs, and AIOps.
Dr Tomasz Bednarz
Dr Bednarz is a Director of Strategic Researcher Engagement for APAC and EMEA at NVIDIA Corporation. Earlier he was a Director and Head of Visualisation at the Expanded Perception & Interaction Centre (EPICentre) of UNSW Art & Design and also a Research Team Leader at the CSIRO Data61, leading Visual Analytics team in Software & Computational Systems research program. His research is in the areas of immersive visualisation, human-computer interaction, computational imaging, visualisation, and simulations, computer graphics, games, computational fluid dynamics, and demoscene.

Prof Jayaraman is a Professor with the School of Science, Computing and Engineering Technologies of the Swinburne University of Technology and director of the Factory of the Future and Digital Innovation Lab. He works in the area of distributed systems in particular Internet of Things (IoT), Cloud and Mobile Computing.
Dr Zhibin Liao
Dr Zhibin Liao a senior research fellow at the Australian Institute for Machine Learning (AIML) of the University of Adelaide. His research is in the areas of computer vision, deep Learning, machine learning, and medical image analysis.
